A bit of a tech challenge today, I was trying out the Sony wireless remote app .....and it's rubbish. You can only release the shutter and see a small screen display. No focus, not even autofocus. Which makes it remarkably useless for anything I can think one would want a remote for. What makes this truly odd is that the same app can take total control of "lesser" Sony cameras. Taken with my G lens by moving until something was in focus on the little "monitor" on my phone.
