Mono Monday Challenge: Depth of Field
I may have taken this a little too literally. This is the gate to the field next to our house, and behind the gate you can see the depth of the field. But because I used a shallow depth of field the depth of the field is blurred. So the end result is that the depth of the field is obscured by the depth of field. Clear? I thought so. Thanks to Skeena for the challenge.
It was a nice afternoon so I decided to give the lawn it's first cut of the year. Nothing says spring like the smell of freshly mown grass and cat shit. Then I decided to take the secateurs to the field hedge and cut out a few bits of ivy. The secateurs didn't last long; I soon had the long handled loppers out and removed masses of ivy, carefully checking first to make sure there were no birds nests in the making. A satisfying day.
