Marjorie's ramblings

Waiting for customers

Yesterday's almost complete rest left me feeling like a limp dish cloth today, so I won't be doing that again for a while!

S, the plumber, came at lunchtime. The boiler firm has provided a new burner for the boiler and the new seal for the flue. The previous seal, although new, was leaking. They sent only the internal seal and not the extrernal seal, so the job could not be completed. Also we are not thinking about the whistling radiator in Mum's lounge. It won't do!

I went to Hexham to do a food shop. We were nearly out of a number of essentials. My main shop is always in Aldi, but I popped next door to Tesco for cranberry juice and a few other things.

On my way back to the car, my eye rested on Ben and Holly, who offer a sort of rocking ride in their vehicle. Mono Monday is "depth of field" today. I could not do justice to the little creatures in mono, so they have stayed in colour.

Tonight there  are a whole series of programmes on photography, plus Broadchurch and University Challenge.

My extra nearly made it to the main image spot. I bought 2 custard slices and we enjoyed them with a mid afternoon cup of tea. Bowlby is confident of her place on Mum's knee, whatever is going on. For once, this is a nicely lit, clear and sharp image of her. ( I may be in trouble for posting this later......)
