Eggs

I discovered these tiny eggs yesterday and clocked it for a blip today.
This dried up leaf looks like it has just been caught randomly on the rough wall. However, on closer examination it has very carefully been fastened to the wall to ensure that the precious load underneath would remain protected through the worst the weather can throw
The question remains....
What will grow from those tiny eggs?
