The swinging gate is complete

Today I completed the repair/track relay on the bridge. Whew! Cleaned the track and ran a locomotive over it very slowly on both tracks and all is good in the world. In celebration there is chocolate cake with pistachio gelato on the menu for dinner.

That loco is #20 of the RGS in her 1950 herald from the movie "Ticket to Tomahawk". Actually filmed in and around Durango. The RGS just repainted the Rio Grand Southern and left the clipper ship herald. This is S the model that really got me into Sn3. Not everyone likes the clipper ship but I do.

Now with both Railroads running correctly I can have visitors to see both. Of course, as soon as the lock something will fall off the track. Always the way.
