Happy long weekend.

In total nerd gear for fall term. I registered for 3-month intensive design training. It's a print + web publishing course at the Toronto Image Works down in the Fashion district. We're on CS6. I'm so happy I can't stand it.

Long story short, I parked my badboy dissertation in May--a year into revisions and coughing up sawdust. With the tenure track getting dicier, and resources dwindling, this chick's headed for some practical upgrades. When the going gets tough, the tough go to art camp.
