a little Tomtit followed me around during a walk on Coal Island which is at the entrance to Preservation Inlet.   This is cropped, a lot :-)  The island is predator free.  We went to see the evidence the gold miners had left behind..  Gold was discovered here in 1887.  The miners modified the landscape considerably by cutting down the trees and turning over the stream beds.  It is evidence of another extraction venture that people tried. The Chinese miners methodically stacked the rocks from the stream beds.  See extra.
