California Quail

California Quail is a rather common bird on our island. Some farmers breed them, but there is a wild stock, too. Probably created by escapees from the farms. You often can see them in the gardens and on the road sides. They are funny and popular birds which have inspired garden art. This sign shows a very typical quail family.
