Middle of Middle Earth Airport

New Zealand is world famous for producing The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit Movies. In fact there very few places in NZ that don't have some kind of link to the movies!
I took my Mum to the airport this afternoon to begin her flight back home to Blighty! This huge piece hangs in Wellington Airport depicts Gandalf and the Great Eagles, the wingspan is 15m.

Hope your flight home will be more comfortable than Gandalf's Mum!


By the way, I haven't seen any of the movies but don't tell anyone as I'll probably be deported!!
