Rocks

The sea and these rocks and many others are visible from the bedroom window and front door of my hotel. Heavy spells of rain and strong wind rather curtailed my activities today. A brief lull after breakfast allowed me to quickly go out and set up for a long exposure shot with the big stopper. I had in mind to echo the distant misty islands in the nearby rocks which were intermittently covered by breaking waves.

Otherwise it has been a thin day photographically, difficult to stand upright in the wind when dry, and horizontal heavy rain often confined me to the car.

I take the ferry to Skye tomorrow commencing my return home :(
