Evening Light

Another beautiful day has brought this ornamental cherry into blossom. The extra : the Art School, now part of the University. I noticed this view of it as I walked home from the cinema yesterday : I liked the light in the window and the victorian building against the evening sky, so went back today to catch it, spotting the cherry en-route. So often happens : go out for something specific and spot something else.

The film was The Viceroys House : about Mountbatten the last Viceroy of India and the terrible affects of partition in 1947. I was very moved by it. Made by a woman director, who also made 'Bend it like Beckham'. Worth seeing folks.
