Fireworks!

The first Sunday of September (usually) means only one thing in Edinburgh: the end of the flamin' Festival Fireworks over the Castle!
We always used to make a night of it, had tickets for Princes St Gardens on several occasions so that we could hear the orchestra play and see the whole sky fill with sparks that seemed to be about to swallow you up. I only decided to go to watch at about 8 o'clock, this year, so wasn't sure where I'd get a good sight-line...

It's the first time I've tried to capture fireworks, so lessons have been learned for next time... mostly bringing a longer lens if I go back to the same spot. :/
This is cropped quite severely, so probably no embiggification will be possible :(
