Dislocated

You know that question - what would you take if you had to leave your house at short notice?

I was on Skype earlier this evening discussing all the disruptions in the world when a burly policeman knocked loudly and gave me five minutes to leave the house.

This is what I packed.  Staying at a friend's around the corner after an hour or two seeing how the emergency services work - seamlessly in this case.

Building across the street was deemed unstable and we're homeless for an indefinite period.  Could be just tonight, days, or weeks.  A teeny tiny taste of uncertainty.  A taste of things to come even in this sheltered corner?
