Almost gone

Almost 2 weeks after being blown down, we are now seeing the last of the huge beech tree off Speke's north lawn. All that remains is this section of the main trunk. The poor squirrels have been running up and down it all day (except for the time I have the camera there!!) I suspect they were looking for their crushed nuts.
