Fancy a Bud?

These critters are screeching about checking the development of the flower buds on our fruit trees. In small numbers they are fine, but they can strip a tree when you get a working party of them.

P.s. There are some who blame the late Mr Hendrix for the introduction of these birds. He is said to have had several in his summerhouse in Henley/Carnaby Street (depending on the tale you want to believe). Of course, they really needed to be free as a bird and unsurprisingly they became so!
