Over the Hills and Far Away

Mixed weather, but not too windy or cold and no rain so we took a drive up into the Angus hills and followed narrow roads that were new to us.  Stopped to take this view made even more special with the grey sky and sunshine at the same time.

Saw several new lambs with their mothers, red squirrels, deer and some very dark pheasants, which we initially thought were black grouse. (See Extras)  Took a break for a coffee and scone at Peel Farm before a leisurely drive home.  A lovely day out!
