K9 Nose Work
First day back at work was busy... As always after having been away for a while.
At 4 pm we left though and went for a lovely sunny walk and when we came back to the car, I put the boys in and prepared some Nose Work searches.
In Nose Work, the dogs learn to search for a specific odor or odors and find the source. In this case the odor was lavender oil. That is the first odor they will meet if they get to go to a competition.
So these pictures af of the boyss searching for lavender in a big pile of wood.
We spend an hour searching and it was lovely - such a beautiful, quiet day.
Now we're home and I'm starving. The boys have already had their dinners. Now it's my turn.
See you tomorrow
