'Happy 89th Birthday..............!

This is a lovely shot of our 'two Nannies' celebrating my Mum-in-Laws 89th birthday today.... so, now we have an 89 and 90 year old Nannies.....
We had a small, impromtu, unarranged birthday party and they both enjoyed it...
It is a great age to reach....and we have a lot to learn from them.....they grew up and lived in such a different era to us and certainly their grandchildren, who I think believe at this stage that they came out of the dark ages........
No running water....no electricity....no bathrooms...oh the horror of it, couldn't be imagined now....but it made them what they are, very resilient,strong, determind people.....and we are lucky to have them so long.............
