Hjorundfjorden

It did clear up brilliantly in Trondheim. Serendipity again. We joined a service in the cathedral and it turned out to be a baptism. The music was wonderful, the families were in traditional Norwegian costume - and the babies were hilarious. When we ventured outside, it was stunningly blue skies. Amazing to see the beauties of Trondheim in that way.

Overnight we sailed to Alesund and took a small catamaran into Hjorundsfjorden. We started with grey gloom but the sun broke through. This shot picks out some of the amazing reflections in the fresh clear air
