I and several others went to the Scottish Parliament today - see extra - and had an interesting discussion on the children's hearings system, and a particular focus on legal representation in hearings and how some adverse behaviour can be distesssing, especially for a young child. The counter point was made that often legal representatives can support the working of the hearing.

Then it was home to start packing to head off for a long weekend break in Stratford upon Avon. So far, as the blip shows, it is living up to expectations!
