Pentlands

The campervan had its first service, so I took it out to Bilston Glen Industrial Estate where the garage is. They did the service while I went out for a walk to Roslin Chapel and Roslin Glen, before coming back through Bilston Glen, where there was extensive coal mining in the past.  The OS map is wrong there, as there are no contours and the wee burn and quite mature woodland are also missing. However it was nice morning and the views were good. The main blip is of Carnethy Hill and Turnhouse hill, with a little snow from Monday evening. The extra is of some crocus in Bilston Glen.
