Change all around...

This was taken at the corner of Leith St and Princes St and is where until very recently the St James Shopping Centre used to stand.

Demolition is now well advanced and the view of, and presumably from, Register House has been changed dramatically.

More than half of the St James Hotel has also gone but further down Leith St a new building is already emerging on the site whilst John Lewis continues to trade despite the loss of all its surrounding neighbors.
