Baby Bird

I was strolling in the garden and thinking how wonderful the smell of the apples on the apple tree was in the glorious sunshine. I heard a lot of twittering and chirping and this little fella/gal, alighted on to a nearby branch.

If you look big you can see all its fluffy little feathers. Anyone any ideas what it is? It has a long tail, but long tailed tits would be rare, surely, or perhaps a baby coal tit? I'm off to look at the birdie books now.

Mr H has been chopping down bits of the garden, I am providing moral support, motivational advice and cups of tea. He's a good 'un. I may don my floppy hat and drink a cool drink on the garden bench in a bit.
