Illustration for Exodus 17:1-7

Today is my minimalist attempt to illustrate the verses  noted by seeing this as an Israelite huddled under robes for the long trek across a barren land as part of the Exodus.  The note in the Bible under these verses said "complaining only increases our level of stress."  Moses is hounded by his people for water.  This outdoor umbrella is about 50 feet from a pool of water and 50 yards from the sea.  In other words, in the illustration, water is close, but complaining is the order of the day for those who lack faith.
