Weather Words

Yesterday
the tale told
was one of folk being fooled
into thinking summer had come early.

Coats
were removed
and some even chose
to eat their meals  outdoors.

This morning,
when the book was opened
at today’s sodden page,
it was back to the same old bedraggled story.
