Angels on Duty

Today was totally unexpected. Mike has had pain in his teeth for over a year now, keeps going to dentists... anyway, been steadily getting worse since Monday, and bad night, so really needed to do something today. The worst of being new in a place - tried everything we could think of, but ended up getting a slot with the dentist back in Mora, so we suddenly had zero minutes to get dressed and race the two hours journey - grateful for the angels who were on duty all the way.

Anyway, after a rather grueling session, we're now home, the anesthetic has worn off, and he's hungry... so this is rushed. Need to decide whether to extract the tooth or get root canal, and go back in a fortnight, but hopefully, we'll now have some pain-free days...

I was happy to eat one of Bia's pizzas at lunchtime, and the extra is because I noticed some of the vines had started sprouting leaves, so stopped the car and traipsed through soft clods of dirt to capture it - the beginning of a great wine a couple of years from now...
