Whitesands Wigeon
I took Penny for her favourite walk, on the local beach, this afternoon. Sadly the tide was fully in, so we took the paths around the headland.
At one point there are exposed limestone rock formations with hundreds of fossils, and today with added wigeon ducks, sheltering from the waves.
I could have really done with a bigger lens; they scattered when I tried to get a bit closer for a better shot.
Penny, unusually for her, didn't try to chase them.
She was far too busy with the decomposing cod head she found!
