Field Tree.

A busy day with an early start off down into Lancashire for a meeting.  Too nice a day to be inside but you can't choose these things.  Back a round 3:00 which nicely coincided with with Clickychick getting home.

As neither of us had got much exercise we decided to go for a walk along one of the transects I surveyed for the BTO Atlas.  Very enjoyable and pleasing to see the first Skylark of the year climbing high into the sky and Lapwings (Peewits, Green Plovers call them what you will) displaying over the young cereal crops just coming through.
