A Weirly good day

So far so good for a Monday...
My dinner half hour was spent exploring the area around my work. I found a Weir.

Definition
1. A fence or wattle placed in a stream to catch or retain fish.
2. A dam placed across a river or canal to raise or divert the water, as for a millrace, or to regulate or measure the flow.

Here is a picture of the weir. I was slightly restricted with only having the 50mm portrait lens, but enjoyed non the less.

Hopefully its as sunny where you are, as i am...
