Through The Gateway . . .

is a photographic exploration of the Mackenzie.  The Fairlie In Focus Photography Group have set up these boards to display their work in a permanent outdoor exhibition along the main street.  I thought it was fabulous and I haven't seen it done anywhere else.  It is opposite the Fairlie Bake House where we stopped for their famous pies.  Not sweet pies like in America but a pastry case and lid enclosing savoury flavours.  The forester had salmon and bacon and I had pork belly.  Delicious.
