Another one bites the dust

Son 2's phone met the floor with more force than it could cope with. Still usable but with heightened probability of any interaction requiring a trip to the first aid box to patch up bloodied fingers. It'll be a lot of refereeing time to meet the cost of a replacement.

At 8 pm I got my reminder to post a Blip and I immediately thought 'bother, haven't taken a single photo today, not even on my phone'. But I checked my phone anyway and realised I'd WhatsApped a pic of the broken phone to W to ask if he knew about it, another to Son 1 of his girlfriend's art book to him to ask if she was looking for it.  I'd also taken a short vid for family posterity of Fruitcake cat going into slightly troubling prolonged raptures after sniffing Son 2's very used rugby shirt while it was waiting to go into the washing machine, and then a pic of the small car after I'd driven it to College  parents evening to show Son 1 where I'd parked it. Nothing very exciting but still quite useful.
