The New Carpet...

...has been laid in the newly converted (from the garage) bedroom and en-suite today.  It is finally beginning to look like a bedroom after 7 months of building work.  The curtains and blinds go up Monday, and the new bed is being delivered on Tuesday...hoorah!
I suggested to M that it might be a good idea to hoover the carpet as it was new.  This was the first of 6 vacuum cleaner waste cylinders full of fluff!  (Happily, there is still some wool left on the carpet:)
One of the reviewers of our newly purchased vacuum cleaner said that it in use it 'clung to the carpet like a terrier on a postman's turn-up'!  The author of this quote wasn't wrong!
