Groggy

I'm out of surgery feeling groggy, sick but relieved to wake up.
I've not been knocked out since I was 11 years old and fell of a trampoline during a gym lesson at school and badly breaking my arm in two places.

I was really scared as they wheeled me down to theatre this morning just after 11am.

It took about an hour, I woke in pain so was given morphine to help.

I'm hoping to be discharged later on and get home and see the fur babes and P , who's been texting me and taking my mind off things.

I'm very wobbly and need a cuppa.

But I'm ok.


I had earlier mentioned to a mate that it was St Patrick's day, I have a bottle of Guinness at home. Plus it was the Cheltenham gold cup and months ago I was given a tip, the tip has sat on my kitchen work surface since then.

I should've put a bet on when I first got the tip as the odds dropped.

Well my mate asked was she to put bet on for me so I said yes and how much.

The horse finished second at about 20-1 I think...

I'm hoping she listened to me and put on her money.


Roo this morning at 5am was not ready to get up!!
