The Watercolour school..

...named "Gunnlaugsblár" - Gunnlaug's blue - which is Cerulean Blue.

Our teacher was Gunnlaugr Stefan Gíslason, one of Iceland's best watercolour artist. He had taught us in a school in Reykjavik, but was let go because we were so few and we asked if he would go on teaching us if we found a place - he offered his studio and I stayed there for eight "winters", some longer. Then I wanted do something new and went to the University - see tomorrow.

At long last I have a picture of most of us that attended Gunnlaug's school. We met every Saturday in the winter time at ca. 09:30 and began to prepare and if someone had painted something during the week, we took a look and discussed it.
Then we sat down to breakfast, which we took turns at buying or bringing, even baking. And this could take from 15 to 45 minutes depending on the conversation. At 13:00 hour we usually had packed and all of us were gone at 13:30.
