Busy Day

After yesterday's exciting arrival, today seemed rather humdrum in comparison.  This morning, we had a meeting with the painter who is working on the new place upstairs, and it's a good thing we did, as he was quite confused about which colours went in which rooms.  All sorted out now, we hope!  We also met with a design consultant to discuss living room and bedroom embellishments accompanied by much measuring and muttering, and then a mad dash down to the lawyer's office to sign papers in preparation for the upcoming sale of our current apartment.  When we got back, we were greeted with a very lovely surprise housewarming/congratulations-on-the-new-grandchild gift of champagne that had been delivered in our absence.

Henry's mom is feeling the aftermath of yesterday's C-section today, so we have postponed our inaugural visit to meet and greet Grandchild #4 until tomorrow.  Can't wait to get my hands on him!
