Vitamin Sea
Today's felt quite full really, not sure if it's because it actually was or because me & the watermelon are moving at a snail's pace due to horrible & painful feet/ankles! The highlight of the morning was sitting in the sunshine in one of the squares, writing & practising my breathing prayers...lovely to be in the sunshine, listening to the frogs in the water...it was especially lovely to do something so natural & holistic after an early morning appointment at the hospital re epidurals etc...and listening to the anaethetist tell me what drugs they use to counteract the other drugs that are counteracting something else they've given you! Phew! Even though we're planning a home birth, you have to sign this drugs form to say you know the risks, in case of an emergency. Really hoping we won't need to see the inside of a hospital.
We picked Asha up from school & headed to a beach to meet up with the 24-7 guys...lovely to natter in the sunshine...eat tasty sarnies & delicious strawberry & peach kebabs. Even caught the sun! Then straight home for Asha to go to reading class with her friend, who ended up back here afterwards...and after dinner we all met friends for a drink in the square...where we bumped into several other friends! Including a couple of the homeless guys.
Now home, painful feet are UP and planning on a quiet rest of the evening with Danny.
Today I'm grateful for;
1) A peaceful time in the square this morning.
2) Asha being a chirpy little thing today.
3) Wandering around tonight nattering to such a variety of people.
