Seven and Counting!

I am always blown away by the many expressions of appreciation and goodwill I receive on a big blip day! Thank you very much to those who looked in, commented and/or left stars or hearts. It is all wonderfully reaffirming and we all need that from time to time.

Dd and I came away this day after to join friends here in Cairo at the Pyramids for some drinks on the terrace of the Mena House Hotel. It was occupied by a vast wedding reception so we had to 'make do' with the inside cocktail bar! Always memorable to visit this place. Enjoyed the company of Undercovercairo, Simon and his friends Ahmed from Port Said and Hany from Jordan who lives in Beirut, and both of who work on missions for Medecins Sans Frontieres. Dinner in Kandahar to finish, all six of us.
