Power to the People II

We woke up this morning to no power again, but, never daunted we pulled out the emergency supplies for the second time this week and got stuck in.

So it was out with the generator again, we use it to pump the water from the well, stoves fired up, water on the boil and hey presto breakfast. I must admit I did plug the toaster into the generator.

Then it was off for a bracing walk on the beach in some sparkling light and 'Happy New Yearing' to all and sundry, mostly children and dogs out for a play.


Tonight it's catching up with the Christmas books and a nice meal.
