The End of the Festival

Went to the fireworks that mark the end of The Edinburgh International Festival with a crowd from work.
We had tickets for the gardens which is a great place to watch them from, you can have a bottle of fizz or two and you can hear the music.., but we arrived late and didn't have the best spot.
It was great fun, but it isn't the best place to take photos from - you're far to close! Next year I'll go to some further afield vantage point to capture that classic Edinburgh skyline. But this evening was about a good night out with workmates.
I like the feathery smoke/spark trails when you look closely.
