Retro Gal

The very first Rock and Hop was held today in Timaru, at Caroline Bay. It is a celebration of all things Vintage and Retro.
There was lots of classic cars on display, and competitions for the best dressed retro man and woman (the gal in the blip is one of the entrants).
There was also the Wearable Parts competition, where people dressed up in outfits made out of car parts! (see the extra for a dress made out of a car seat, modeled by a very bewildered-looking lady)

$20,000 was raised in aid of Hospice, too.

It was a great day.
