Life's soundtrack

One of the things uncovered yesterday was a pile of my old LPs from my growing up days. I'm not sure they would play now even if I had a record player but I don't think I can part from them -they were so important at the time.

I think the music we listen to in our teens and 20s stays with us for life -I guess partly to our impressionable minds and partly because of that time seems to last so long!

Work is truly rubbish -all sorts of subterfuge going on around me and I have no idea how to respond. I hate game playing but also still have the tendency to think people will acknowledge the work I do and do right by me. But I know sometimes you need to concentrate on your own future and defend ones territory -it doesn't come naturally!

Our wedding anniversary today. I think it was bad planning to have it so close to my birthday as I get celebrated out!
