Thirty-one self portraits.

The experience was challenging and fun, a combination of fear and accomplishment that I found very motivating. I learned more about myself than I expected and that was good, not that what I learned was good, it's just good that I learned it.

The process made me appreciate blip even more than I did before (which was a lot). I am truly grateful to all who stopped by for a look and left comments. They were inspiring and insightful.

Today is a day of introspection. Rain pounds at the windows. Hurricane Issac has reached Kansas City; its arrival bittersweet. What was devastating to our neighbors on the Gulf is much needed and welcome here. I'm not sure what to think about all that.
