Cambridge Science Festival
Every year Cambridge holds a science festival lasting a couple of weeks. It is crammed full of talks, seminars, demonstrations, and shows across all science topics. It seems like a great idea to be able to get the public engaged in the huge amount of research that goes on here, as well as hopefully inspiring children to follow in our footsteps.
Today I was working at the Life and Plant Sciences marquee, talking about my bees (which were in the marquee - see extra photo!) and explaining lots of interesting ways in which plants and flowers interact. It was very exhausting but incredibly enjoyable. The public had lots of really interesting questions and I was somehow able to answer all of them!
