Wieliczka salt mine

As it was a rainy day, we decided on a trip to the amazing salt mine, twenty minute train ride from Krakow centre.
It's an incredible place. The tour only went down three levels (of nine ) and covered 1% of the total mine...and still​ took three hours. It was started in 1280 and only finished mining in 20th century. There are huge caverns and several chapels, with carvings and chandeliers, all out of salt.

Then back to town, wandered around and had a steak dinner. Even managed to catch the end of the rugby...though the score was disappointing.
