Ruby years ago.....!

A very happy time this afternoon spent with "old" friends  celebrating their Ruby wedding anniversary. And, as often happens on these occasions, it gave the opportunity to catch up with other friends we hadn't seen for a long time. 

"We four" (my sisters and I) grew up with Margaret and her family. Our parents were very close friends. Our children grew up together and were at school together for a while until we moved away.  We started and ran a Mother and Toddler group at church together for several years. When we meet, we pick up exactly where we left off. There has been sadness and happiness shared over many years, and today has been a special day of remembrance.
