If I can find along enough USB cable to keep the bike camera charged I might see how much these waggle over the course of a couple of days' timelapsed growth.

Sometime around 1997 there was a big sack of potatoes left in a kitchen cupboard in my flat for a few months. There were no external windows in the kitchen but the potatoes were so desperate for the weak light visible through the gap at the edge of the door that they were extruding shoots two feet long apiece, which was quite alarming when I opened the cupboard one day and rediscovered them.
