The 2nd bookend

I make no apology for another image of the Rotunda and Robert dB quite so soon. But we were back at Bannockburn on another cool, breezy wet day...to meet A Snr. In Aberdeen meantime the conference highlights piled up reaching a peak with the leader and FM's solid, honest, warm, generous, internationalist, leading speech. Scotland won well against Italy and fondly and gratefully said farewell to Vern. Ireland did splendidly too against England and metaphors abounded. We breathe now. Consolidate, plan, prepare. The better to jump forward. To a better future.
