Another gloomy day today, and still quite cold - Spring has certainly been put on hold at present, with no noticeable improvement in the 5-day forecast! We spent the morning doing jobs around the house, then after lunch went for a rather muddy walk at Rowe Woods, but unfortunately didn't come back with many photographs. We did see a group of about five deer making their way through the trees, but they were too far and masked by undergrowth to be able to get a good photograph. I wasn't particularly happy with my bird photographs, so instead I'm posting some of the fungus we saw on fallen trees.
