Spraying paint around
Today is not the first time that I have seen this piece of street art. It is on the brick side wall of a bar and eatery on Ponsonby Road. Slightly down the alleyway from Ponsonby Road. It seemed a good subject for my photo today.
The bar is known as "The Little Easy", and claims to serve the best bar food on Ponsonby Road, which is code for "the best in Auckland". We do have gangs in New Zealand, consisting of gang members rather than gangsters. There have been incidents where one gang has a feud with another gang, and a few times that has resulted in firearms being used. Shooting towards each other seems to satisfy them in most occasions, although one or two deaths have occurred.
Hence my title; bullets rarely get sprayed around. It is after all the Little Easy, and Chicago (or even Russian) gangsters would die of boredom rather than lead poisoning, I guess.
