How unequal is our world?
11th March 2017:
Mzimba south where this pump in, have few functioning pumps and from our team’s estimates it looks like 400 pumps will be needed to give people a proper, local supply.
You can find many old people unbathed and women and girls rising at 3am to travel long distances to queue fro hours at open pits fro contaminated water.
Hello people!!!, this is 2017 and some people who have sufficient money are thinking of holidays on the moon. Soon I can have my McDonald’s burger delivered by drone, and we call ourselves a globalised world.
Our cost to deliver water for life to one of our our co-owners of this planet, is less than 1 Euro each.
Apologies for the rant.
